Customer Quality Engineer

Focused on customer satisfaction in all topics related to quality, giving specific follow-up to product quality complains.

Main Activities:

  • Be the primary contact for external customers on quality issues and / or timely delivery failures.
  • Responsible to obtain the customer full approval for engineering changes (Product, process, line layout changes, etc.).
  • Coordinate client visits and follow up on the actions generated.
  • Coordinate and participate in customer complaint analysis meetings, in addition to monitoring the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate support activities during the analysis and resolution of external quality problems.
  • Prepare final reports of corrective actions defined to solve a problem reported by the client. (8D, 5W´s, Ishikawa or part analysis report)
  • Coordinate the containment inspection with customers, in Autoliv warehouses.
  • Approve of external sort activities, verify and approve payment orders to service providers.
  • Problem Solving

Requirements:

  • Industrial, Mechanic or Mechatronic Engineering Degree
  • Advanced English
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive industry with similar positions.
  • Knowledge in customer requirements.
  • Understanding basic quality tools (problem solving, SPC, APQP).
  • Manufacturing processes (sewing, assembly, riveting).
  • Understanding processes such as injection molding, stamping, die casting, special processes (more).
  • Strong technical skills and product / process knowledge. CSR Audit interpretation.
