Master packaging planner is a critical role within the organization, he/she will interact with several areas, such as operations, supplier quality assurance, and warehouse.

This position requires a self-driven person, that will need low supervision and that is able to obtain information by going to the source. Manage and develop packaging logistics from the customer to the point of use in the production cells.

Manage and plan the packaging owned by AST, of the different customers and suppliers, returnable and non-returnable, necessary for the correct production within AST.

Deliverables: Monitor and have complete control of returnable packaging inventory within defined target, maintaining a continuous flow of returnable packaging by having suppliers and customer shipping according to schedule. 

Manages charges back for the use of alternate packaging (cardboard) to the customers and/or suppliers involved. Minimal or non-existent downtime to planning packaging-related issues.
