Industrial Engineering, AST2 (47750)
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of standard processes in AAM. They are responsible to interact with global team on definition of standards. • Divisional and/or Global line owner for assigned technologies. • Define and document standard processes using EPS, Master PFMEA in IQ-RM, Simograms and standard line layouts. • Ensure compliance with all standards (i.e. MPS, CPS, LMPU standards) for their assigned technologies. • Develop and define core standards for new product and process development projects as assigned by PLS IE. • Be product and process expert for RPDT • Support concept definition workshop • Complete all DFSS documentation for assigned development projects • Define Operation / line sequence (simogram) • Identify if CPS / MPS applicable for RPDT machines • Create CPS / MPS for assigned development projects • Evaluate and provide feedback on CPS / MPS to global owner • Validation of first machine assembled • MPS Checklist for machines • Attend SOW, machine kickoff, PDR, FDR meetings for their technologies • Support Identify SC/CC characteristics • Support project specific tooling design as requested • Support Purchasing and manufacturing review meeting. • Provide Line Layout/ Machine list summary • Back up of IE supervisor as required • Back up of other IEs as required • Support evaluation and closure of 8D and 5 Whys assigned. • Support customer corrective actions as assigned • Attend and support weekly problem matrix review as required • Support regular meetings held by RPDT as assigned • Support policy deployment activities as assigned • Proactive • Team Work • Results oriented • Leadership • Good communication skills • Innovation • Work under pressure • Good attitude • Organization skills • Analytical Skills • Self motivated • Ability to interact well with team members from other countries and cultures. • Open minded Engineering Bachelor Degree in related to Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, and/or Mechanical disciplines or equivalent experience in seatbelt manufacturing. • 3-5 years of experience in: a) Processes b) Manufacturing • Knowledge of: a) Automotive Industry b) Pneumatic and Mechanical concepts c) APQP d) SPC Tools e) FMEA/Control Plan • English (90%) Spoken and Written
