CAD Designer, MXAG (51464)
Position Name
What you’ll do:
CAD designer working primarily in CATIA, but also could include SolidWorks. Work closely with Central Leather Organization (CLO), production team, engineering and tool room. Establish CAD capability in AMM to support immediate need in leather pattern and heat element shape development and drawing revisions. Also, establish the ability to engage in CAD reviews of new tools and components for launch programs. Support component design changes as needed.
What is required:
Mechanical Engineering degree and/or equivalent work experience to demonstrate knowledge of tooling and production feasibility. Experienced Designer (CATIA V5 preferred) 3D solid models. 2D component and assembly drawings Experience with software such as LECTRA is beneficial. Experience with cutter path development and/or EMMA programing is beneficial. Knowledge of materials and material selection for design
