Gage / Problem Solving Engineer
What you’ll do:
Stablish and monitoring of goals and objectives according the policy deployment of AAM SW plants and or quality. Coordinate plants Rolling Top 5 process focused on NQC, support to develop, coordinate and implement strategies of improvements of process with Operations and Manufacturing Teams. Coordinate all the problems rank A or TARs until the implementation of systematic actions. Advise, coach and address the quality group in solution of problems internal and external. Define Plant and Products scrap SMART target. Coordinate Autoliv problem-solving academy for both plants. Provide all the necessary tools (materials/knowledge) to process quality group to the development of personnel, achievement of goals and monitoring the plan of training of the personnel in charge. Budget, plan and define strategies with the Plant quality managers. Support product design for gage measurement Develop gage design standard with suppliers Develop initial gage design Lead gage design reviews, OK to build Develop gage maintenance plan Ensure gage maintenance plan is followed Coordinate MSA evaluation with CFT Provide feedback for new gages design / strategy, provide guideline for gages use to PQE Maintain SPC data analysis strategy, promote with PQE action plan for abnormal process conditions Validate new gages MSA and participate in Gage buy off
What is required:
Monitoring and analysis data of process audits and statistical process controls and define the corrective actions.
High Level of Problem-solving tools.
PFMEA and Control plan knowledge.
Process engineering Leadership and Customer or other plants effective communication GD&T knowledge (datum structure, tolerance application)
Mechanical conversion Measurement Methods experience (gage R&R, data analysis) Manufacturing Knowledge (processes, tooling)
