Quality Technician

What you’ll do:

The Prototype Quality Technician is responsible to conduct activities related to incoming inspection and calibration system tracking, working with involved areas as procurement, receiving, design, machine shop, NL engineers • Zero defect philosophy and application. • Accountable for the quality control. • Acts as quality window for the defects related with the machined parts inspection process and MTT departments. • Interacts and have a good communication within the NL team members for inspection of product samples. • Maintain tracking of performance to work in coordination with Design, tool-shop, procurement and IPU to provide feedback that support business decision on vendor workload allocation strategies. • Coordination of adequate manage of measurement devices in use at different MTT areas to ensure tracking and calibration planning. • On time delivery with inspection of parts • FTQ on inspected parts from methos due methos and tools used. • First time quality/zero defects. • Product dimensioning from NL and IE teams. • Data Capture and KPIs tracking for area performance aligned to MTT Policy Deployment initiatives. • Tracking and management of calibration system and execution of calibration on time for all MTT devices in use that required to be track by calibration system in place • Cost and efficiency project implementation • Support training to areas and team members as required

What is required:

Preparatory Degree in related to Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, and/or Mechanical disciplines. • 1-2 years of experience in Quality fields: a) Processes b) Manufacturing c) Metrology processes. • Knowledge of: a) Automotive Industry b) Process Audits c) Metrology Lab d) First article inspection e) Fill quality documentation f) Calibration system g) Quality record control h) Hand metrology tools i) Vision system inspection j) CMM
