What you’ll do:
The Engineering Change Coordinator (New Launches/Programs) is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the availability of materials, packaging, and logistics resources required for new product launches within the automotive plant, also is responsible to attend Customer Requirements during the phase Launch.
This role focuses on planning, controlling, and monitoring all logistics activities related to the ramp-up phase, ensuring on-time readiness of the supply chain to support SOP (Start of Production) and customer demand. Responsible for driving end-to-end Engineering Change execution during New Program launches.
This role ensures Engineering Changes (ECR/ECO) are translated into timely E-BOM / M-BOM releases, supplier readiness, material availability, and system accuracy (JDE/CTS). Acts as the central gatekeeper between Engineering, PMO, SQE, Purchasing, Logistics and Central Planning to avoid material gaps, late approvals, premium freight, and launch disruptions.
This position owns Engineering Change visibility, discipline, follow-up, and closure across all assigned programs.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Certifications/Accreditations
Desirable:
APICS CPIM / CSCP
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
JDE / ERP system certification or formal training
Automotive Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA)
Previous Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, supply chain, engineering coordination, or launch planning environments. -
Proven experience managing Engineering Changes (ECR/ECO), BOM updates, and revision control during new product launches or ramp-up phases.
Hands-on experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, PMO, Purchasing, SQE, and Planning teams.
Prior exposure to ERP systems (JDE preferred) and launch-related tools such as CTS.
Previous involvement in PPAP / Interim PPAP and supplier readiness activities.
Experience supporting OEM customers (BMW, Ford, GM, Stellantis or similar).
Languages Advanced English (mandatory for interaction with global teams and customers)

Availability to travel to plants in Mexico and the U.S.
Flexibility to attend meetings outside local working hours due to time zones.
Ability to adapt to changing environments and demanding customer requirements.
