Machine Build Engineer

What you’ll do:

Machine Build Engineer Responsible for new or retrofit equipment launches projects, quotes for new programs, installation, run at rate of equipment at supplier and the assembly plant as well operations support Buy Off 1 to 4 successfully executed on time spare parts, manuals, MSA and torque studies delivery on time Zero Defects Philosophy / First Time Quality Delivery of projects in a timely manner Q5 Initiative Quotes for new launches Buy off 1 to 4 on time with quality planned. spare parts, manuals, MSA and torque studies delivery on time Pre Run at Rates 100% Customer Run at Rate 100% Policy Deployment actions on time and green -Design and recommend optimum process flow based on specific exploded view of SW design. -Provide accurate cost and cycle time for each process step in the assembly process of SW, using motion analysis and history of equipment cost by the region. -Identify the equipment needed for each new launch. -deliver equipment specification MES and design guideline for quoting purposes. -Developing good working relationship with local equipment suppliers and managing the cost and timing of the equipment build and/or retrofit to be on time and at cost. -Working closely with the design center and provide inputs into the design of SW to insure manufacturability of all coming new products. -Support in the CFT Meetings when required -Support in reviewing and closing actions generated during event on time.

Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge Creation and interpretation of capacity analysis. SMED concepts, Poke yokes, Yokoten, TPM & Kaizen Knowledge of equipment pricing. Preferable handling of L2L software Management of PDM /PLM software preferred. Knowledge of processes similar to machinery validation.
