Aguascalientes Plant | On site

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the development and execution of steering wheel pattern design. 

• Pattern Development: Main activity is design and development the 2D leather/ACF, mat (HE, HOD, foam) pattern design based on the 1P1P guidelines in AS100 projects and AS7 as needed.

• Lead, execute and support various project activities during technical critical phases of awarded programs. 

• Will be responsible for the product (leather-ACF/HOD-HE/foam under leather) validation per customer requirements in time to support production launch.

• Develop designs that are aligned with the customers’ needs and Autoliv’s product/process roadmap. This will require collaboration with all CFT team members, interface with OEM’s, internal supporting groups, manufacturing facilities, and suppliers.

• PU wax model (tunning modification) to improve craftmanship of the wheel (gaps, over flush, etc.).

What is required:

• Post High School education degree/certificate, Associate's Degree, Technical Degree or related.

• Strong English and ability to converse and communicate to engineers within Mexico and US.

• Experience in Leather pattern development, Fashion Design for clothes and shoes, etc.

• Desire to develop career
