What you’ll do:
The Logistic Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the control processes within the manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring optimal production schedules, inventory levels, facilitating efficient workflow to meet production targets and customer demands through efficient warehouse processes and effective cycle count strategy. Responsible receiving materials, raw material storage, supply components and pickup of material in production lines, shipping finished goods and continuous improvement in area. Ensure 100% raw material availability and on time shipments. Promoting efficient communication with demand and production control teams. Follow the standards to optimize inventory levels and mainly the Safety. • Inventory Management • Warehouse Management • Material routes (conveyance) • Process Improvement • Team leadership • Cross department collaboration • Reporting and Analysis • 100% customer deliveries • Warehouse management • Material flow (timing control) • Inventory accuracy • Delivery 100% to internal and external customers • Pursue the development of logistic tools to increase the level of automation and reduce the manual nature of the processes. • Develop and implement conveyance schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels. • Collaborate with FG Planning, RM Planning and Operations to align production plans to business objectives and limitations. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce logistic costs. • Analyze KPIs and performance to recommend changes. • Ensure material flow in and out of facility and warehouse. • Inventory accuracy and cycle counts. • Guarantee compliance with established procedures and standards. • Comply with audits and monitoring of the 5S. • Participate in problem solving analysis, when required. • Comply with the suggestion program. • Manage shortages or deviations to deliveries of materials. • Proactive participation in the continuous improvement programs of the warehouse. • Management of JDE and others related to the warehouse. • Manage logistics process to ensure the coordination of all distribution elements to deliver on time and quantity to customers. • Active participation in Operations and Staff forums to help solve systematic problems. • Manage Inventory turns thru supervision and follow up. • Provide resources and eliminate obstacles to approach targets • Apply APS principles in the work area
