In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Leather Pattern Design team throughout product development and launch activities, ensuring successful implementation of new programs and engineering changes across all project phases. You will drive compliance with the APDS process, following AS100 and AS007/PSC procedures, while ensuring product manufacturability, quality, and performance requirements are achieved. Additionally, you will support prototype and pre-saleable part construction activities, contributing to the successful validation and launch of new products.

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

• Support new product launches by collaborating closely with the Leather Wrapping Design team to ensure timely and accurate pattern development and implementation.

• Coordinate and support engineering change activities throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring updates are properly assessed, documented, and executed.

• Develop and update leather patterns based on RASIC requirements while ensuring compliance with customer and engineering specifications.

• Participate in the evaluation and feasibility analysis of engineering changes (AS7), identifying potential impacts on manufacturability, quality, and performance.

• Drive pattern development efficiency by reducing design iterations through effective execution of R5 reviews and actively contributing to workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.

     If you have/are:

• Technical degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Automotive, or a related field; engineering studies are a plus.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development, and engineering change management within a production environment.

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation related to product or pattern development.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support feasibility evaluations and identify opportunities for process improvement.

• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Launch teams while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
